Reviewer: cat,
I bought one of these about 17 years ago and have had it repaired a couple of times. The inside bowl has a gear that wears out with our constant use. This time I decided to buy a new one; the motor just has to be getting old! Hope this new one is as long-lived as the first one!

PS: I use my oven for baking because I prefer the texture of bread baked there, but having the machine knead dough for me saves my wrists (I have carpal tunnel problems).
Love It!

Reviewer: dp1102,
I have owned this model for just over 5 years. I have made many kinds of bread, and have recently taken up making pizza dough. No more Take and Bake for us no-sir-ee! The kids like the one we make much better. Just on a conservative estimate I have probably put out over 50 loaves of bread, and several hundred (yes you read right) pizza doughs. Clean up is a cinch as well. I would highly recommend this machine.
Great product

Works great at a great price...I have heard that the included recipe book is poor so I got some recipes from bread machine books at the library. The only thing I have noticed is that you need to make sure that the dry ingredients are fully mixed into the dough - easy fix.
GREAT BREAD MAKER

I'm a guy. This thing rocks. You will never buy store bought sawdust bread again. I make one pound loaves. Took a few times to get my recipe down for white and raisin bread. White: 200 ml warmed bottle water, 2 tbl butter not margarine, 2 tbl sugar, 1 heaping tbl dry milk, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbl instant potatoes, 1 tsp flax seeds, 2 1/4 cup flour, 1 heaping tea spoon bread machine yeast. I help it get mixed up as its spinning around with a rubber spreader thing. Sometimes it needs a few extra drops of water. Done deal. Tell you what! I'm a single guy. The lady's keep coming back for more.
Love it!!

Reviewer: Emily,
I got this breadmaker on a whim. I came to Amazon to read the reviews after I bought it and got a little worried because of all the negative ones. I've made a few loaves now and they've all turned out GREAT!! A lot of people have complained about bread not turning out correctly, but I think it's the person's doing, not the breadmaker (I've followed a few recipes I have found online and in the book it provides). Keep in mind, I've never made bread before and never even used a breadmaker, and this one seems to work great for me.

The only issue I have with it is that the shape of the pan is a little awkward and makes the loaves tall. Also, sometimes after taking the loaf out of the pan the kneading device leaves a giant hole on the underside of the bread. These aren't TOO big of issues for me, though, because I am not making bread for looks.

Like I mentioned, I don't have any other experience with breadmakers, but I do recommend this one if you're a newbie like me! :)
